Dear Friends and Family,
I would like to wish you a happy holidays from the bottom of my heart. This year has been busier than ever. Traveling over 50,000 miles, from football fields to oil spills, has come with its ups and downs, but I am fortunate to have the best support anyone could ask for.
My friends and family have kept me going, through the good and bad, when work takes over and when I am not always available. I've missed birthdays and holidays, dinners and parties, but I know that I can always lean on my support group wherever the road takes me. I hope that all of my friends and family know, that despite my physical absence, I am always there for them.
Looking back, I have been fortunate enough to work countless sporting events, breaking news stories and shoot some amazing commercial work across the U.S. This year has had some incredible milestones in my career: my first photos published in The New York Times, an amazing internship at The Miami Herald where I covered the BP oil spill for two months and my third year working with ESPN.
There are many more things to be thankful for and reflect during the holidays, but I look forward to spending some time with my family and getting ready for a fantastic 2011.
My support group has made some great sacrifices this year, and I thank everyone for bearing with me as I continue a relentless schedule of work and school at the University of Florida.
Thank you again for helping me achieve the ambitious goals I have set and the even more ambitious deadlines I wish to accomplish them by.
Please stay in touch via e-mail or the blog.
Always on the move,
